Within just a few months, it seems the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is nearly sold out. The redesigned C8 model features a mid-engine layout and it seems buyers are clamoring to be a part of this new generation. If you want to be a part of it, too, you need to order a 2020 Corvette soon.
Chevrolet builds the Corvette at its Bowling Green factory in Kentucky. To prepare for the new Corvette model, Chevrolet added about 400 jobs, invested $439 million on a new paint shop, and spent $290 million on technology upgrades.
In talking with Autoblog, GM design chief, Michael Simcoe, said, “I think the orders have already hit the first year of production numbers. It’s nearly sold out. It’s so close that it’s bound to be sold out soon.”
In addition to its groundbreaking mid-engine design, the 2020 Corvette will feature a driver-focused cockpit that will give you an immersive driving experience. You can choose from a variety of contoured sports seats to give you the support you need.
Under the hood, the 2020 Corvette will come standard with a 6.2-liter LT2 V8 rated at 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. This engine will have a top speed of 194 mph.
