Death’s Door Maritime Museum
Located on the tip of a peninsula, the Gills Rock fishing town houses a fascinating museum of lake history. Death’s Door Museum features Hope, an authentic 45-foot tug boat dating from 1930. Check out the shipwreck exhibit and see artifacts dredged up from Lake Michigan’s dangerous passage, Death’s Door.
