The venerable Chevrolet Equinox is getting a nice upgrade next year, adding a powerful new look, a sporty new RS trim, and more amenities for the high-end Premier trim.
Set to launch in 2021, the 2022 Chevrolet Equinox brings in the popular RS trim as a new option for folks who love to show their sporty side. The all-new Chevy Equinox RS sports a gloss black grille with a red RS badge and black bowtie, stealthy black side rails, and mighty 19-inch Dark Android wheels. That sense of style carries over to the inside where you’ll find sharp red contrast stitching throughout the black upholstered interior and a sporty RS shift knob.
At the top of the range, the 2022 Chevrolet Equinox Premier gets shimmering new 19-inch machine-faced wheels to complement bright LED headlamps and taillamps and the chrome inserts in its gloss black grille. Also new for the Equinox Premier is a logo projection liftgate, high black gloss finish on the center console, and subtle French stitching that takes the feeling of luxury up another notch.
No matter what trim you select, the 2022 Chevrolet Equinox boasts a bold, redesigned face that includes an aggressive grille, revamped front fascia, and slim LED headlamps. The handsome-looking 2022 Equinox will arrive at Frank Porth Chevrolet in Crivitz, WI, next year; stay tuned for more details.
The first 2020 Chevrolet Corvette rolled off the line in early February of this year. Manufactured at the General Motors Bowling Green Assembly plant in Kentucky, the 2020 Corvette has been one of the most anticipated vehicles on the market. With a distinct mid-engine design and exceptional performance, this is one sports car any auto enthusiast can enjoy.
This eighth-generation Stingray is the
first ever to offer a mid-engine design, which includes an all-new LT2 V8
engine that’s available through the rear hatch window. There’s a hardtop convertible
design to let you enjoy the open air, while redesigned seats are ideal for the
track and road. The 2020 Corvette generates 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of
torque, which is the most powerful production Stingray in history.
“The long wait is finally over, and the new
mid-engine Chevy Corvette is as good as we could have imagined. So good, in
fact, that it earned a 2020 10Best award right out of the gate,” said Car and Driver’s Michael Simari. “The
eighth-generation Corvette now boasts an engine behind the passenger cabin,
just like the best from Porsche, Ferrari, and McLaren but at many thousands of

For a while, GM has been undecided whether or not they would extend the Chevrolet Trail Boss trim to their line of SUVs and heavy-duty pickups. For now, at least, the Silverado 1500 will continue to be the only Chevy to carry the Trail Boss brand name.
The Silverado 1500 Trail Boss edition is an off-road beast,
coming standard equipped with the same off-road features as the Z71 Off-Road
package, including hill descent control and Rancho shocks. Also included is a 2-inch
suspension lift, 18-inch Mud Terrain Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac®
tires, and other premium off-roading features.
Though the Trail Boss trim may not be making its way into
the SUV market for now, the 2021 Tahoe and Suburban will offer a Z71 trim. These
models will include 20-inch wheels, upgraded tires, and available features such
as Magnetic Ride Control and Air Ride Adaptive suspension. The Z71 trim
includes a front skid plate, red tow hooks, and black on black chrome exterior
accents. As expected in an off-road vehicle, four-wheel drive will come
standard, with a two-speed transfer case for ultimate traction and control.
As far as Chevy’s HD series of pickups go, no HD Trail Boss
is in the works, but the Silverado HD Z71 Sport debuted at the 2019 SEMA show
and is slated for production in 2021.
